JULY 23 - SINGLE VEHILCE ACCIDENT ON RT. 292

At around 9 pm, Warfield Fire & Rescue got a call of a single vehicle accident on Rt. 292 South of American Hydralics. Upon arrival a 2000 Jeep Cherokee owned and driven by Jason L. Maynard was on it's top blocking the South bound lane of Rt. 292. Mr. Maynard was not hurt. Mr. Maynard told KSP he got into the ditch, and that was the cause of the accident. Mr. Maynard also told KSP he was a member of the Warfield Fire & Rescue Department. This was a false statement, as Mr. Maynard was at one time a member, but is no longer on the department.

JULY 22 - HOUSE IN BEAUTY BURNS

BEAUTY - At around 12:30 am WVFD was called to a fully engulfed structure fire on Lower Popular. The home of Danny Jude was engulfed in flames as firefighters arrived on the scene. After more than two hours, the fire was extinguished.

MARTIN CO. MOTHER & SON FOUND

Anne Horn, 34 and her 8 year old son, William Curtis Maynard, who had been missing
since last Tuesday and were the subject of a search by Police,
were found Sunday afternoon, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Horn and her eight year old son were located around 12:30 Sunday afternoon by
state police and a family member.
They disappeared Tuesday without telling family where they were going.
Investigators believe Horn was trying to get away from her boyfriend. Both mother and son are said to be safe.
