Martin County Senior Citizens Program Inc. Board of Directors is seeking to hire a Director.
The director is responsible for the overall administration, financial management, personnel, program development, fundraising, public, government, and community relations as well as board development.
The senior citizens program currently provides meals to between thirty and forty clients each day at the senior center and delivers over thirty meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to shut-ins throughout Martin County.
An accredited Associate’s Degree in related field is required. An accredited Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred. An accredited Associate’s Degree with two years of management and supervisory experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree. Successful candidate must submit to and successfully pass a criminal records check and TB skin test. When hired director must complete safe driver’s training with Sandy Valley Transportation Services Inc. and must complete orientation and new program directors training with Big Sandy Area Development District’s Area Agency on Aging.
This is a salaried position. Salary and benefits will be discussed at time of interview. This position will supervise food service manager, meals on wheels delivery driver, van driver and any volunteers. Resumes may be mailed to Donald R.
